The Erasmus+ TeProD project gathered at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Slovakia, from 1–5 June 2026 for the fourth project meeting, advancing cooperation in higher education and reinforcing shared project goals.
The meeting focused on reviewing progress and further developing institutional capacity within the TeProD initiative, which supports the professional development of teachers and students in the context of the green and digital transition in Sub-Saharan Africa. Discussions highlighted the growing need to align education with evolving labour market demands and sustainability priorities, with a particular emphasis on integrating green transition insights into future curricula and training programmes.
A key feature of the programme was a hands-on workshop on microcredentials, where participants explored practical ways to design flexible, industry-relevant continuous learning opportunities. The event also offered a closer look at innovation in practice through visits to TUKE’s cutting-edge facilities, including the TECHNICOM Innovation Zone and the PERUN supercomputing centre, showcasing advanced digital infrastructure and research ecosystems.
In addition, partners strengthened their expertise in European Union project management through targeted sessions on financial administration and reporting, supporting effective and high-quality project implementation.
Overall, the meeting further deepened collaboration within the TeProD network and reaffirmed a shared commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing professional development, and driving impactful change in higher education across regions.
