IUM conducts a Workshop on Digital Innovation and Sustainability

The International University of Management (IUM) recently hosted a workshop dedicated to advancing digital innovation and sustainability within higher education. Held on 26 February 2026, the event brought together academics, students and industry experts to strengthen both digital and green competencies across Subโ€‘Saharan African institutions. Coโ€‘funded by the European Union, the workshop offered practical insights into integrating technology and sustainable practices into teaching, learning, assessment and research. A highlight of the day was an expert panel discussion emphasizing responsible and ethical use of digital tools, dataโ€‘driven innovation and the importance of interโ€‘university collaboration. Overall, the event underscored the crucial role higher education plays in supporting a more sustainable and digitally empowered future.
